RAIDFLEX 77424 Redundant RAID
The RAIDFLEX 77424f4-rc and 77424z3-rc offers 4Gbps Fibre Channel and 3Gbps SAS to SAS as 4U a 24-bay rackmount unit with Dual Active-Active Redundant Controllers.
Dual Active-Active Redundant Architecture
Bridged with a dedicated x4 SAS channel between two RAID controllers, the RAIDFLEX 7424fc and 7424dd support dual active-active redundancy (or single) architecture to ensure reliable operation. All major components are fully redundant and hot swappable, and Multipath IO offers multiple fault tolerant datapaths between servers and the array.
Snapshot benefit: Host and Application Independent
Snapshots are performed at the array and block level utilising the RAID controllers' CPUs, making them both host and application independent, involving less of a performance impact comparing to host-based snapshot software solutions.

Comprehensive on-line Management from web based GUI
Management may be performed through a variety of interfaces, including the command line interface (CLI) over a local console and secure shell (SSH), and web
based graphical user interface (GUI). Important or abnormal events are recorded and emailed (without extra software or agents). Maintenance tasks such as capacity resizing, disk scrubbing, and disk roaming are not only online executable, but can be pre-scheduled to perform periodically without further human interference. Non-interruptive firmware updating function seamlessly and automatically synchronized the firmware image onto both controllers in the case of redundant systems. With all the comprehensive management utilities, little effort will be required to configure, reconfigure and monitor the array on the systems.
