High Availability

- P300Q systems are well equipped with fully redundant components for all major functions, including redundant RAID controllers, power supplies, fan modules, battery backup modules, and SAS JBOD expansion ports.

- Firmware includes support for RAID 6, 60, QSnap writable snapshot, Windows VSS support and volume configuration restoration reduces the chances of rebooting or shutdown, and may be upgraded without system down time.

- Firmware image and volume handling are protected by redundant RAID controllers; when one RAID controller is down or has lost the connection, the other RAID controller takes over its tasks immediately with the volumes and the services are transferred seamlessly and simultaneously.

Environmental

- Auto disk spin down minimises hard drive power consumption, and is unnoticeable to users.

- Active temperature monitoring and interactive cooling fan control.

- Power supply modules are all 80 PLUS power efficient for better power conversion.
